Reviews: Cooking class & Vibrant Mekong Market by Scooter (Half-Day)
Guest User2024-09-05
We booked a cooking class with An and it was the best! She took us to a local market, gave us a list of ingredients and helped us buy everything we needed and more. We also had a delicious breakfast and a snack with her, always in local places. Then we came back to the homestay and we learned how to cook a fantastic vietnamese lunch. I would totally reccomend this experience to everyone! An is the sweetest, she is very passionate about her job and she will answer every question. We will def do it again when we come back to Ben Tre.
Reviews: Journey through the Mekong Delta

On the day of the tour, there were seven of us, and we were lucky to have both an English and a Japanese guide on board, so we could listen to the bilingual guide. It takes about 90 minutes to get to My Tho, but by joining this tour, you can experience many uniquely Vietnamese things, such as visiting the historic Eichoji Temple, tasting coconut crackers, riding a motorboat, a small local car, a rowboat, local My Tho cuisine, honey tea, and tasting fresh fruit. The tour also includes an announcement from the participants' perspective about the good points of the toilet, making it a worthwhile tour.
Reviews: Mekong Delta Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City with Luxury Limousine Options

The tour was exactly as described. Even though the minibus was full, the small number of people made it comfortable. The guide was always nearby, so I felt safe. Everyone else on the tour was very kind, and we had a wonderful day. Tips and drinks are separate, but no one pressured us into buying souvenirs; we only paid if we wanted to. Water and a coconut drink were provided on the boat before we left. It was sweet and delicious. You can feed the crocodiles for 60 yen. The crocodiles wait with their mouths open. They won't eat unless you put food in their mouths. My kids loved it. I was also happy to have the opportunity to wrap a snake around them.
