I went to the walking tour with friends. I didn't know Minami area had so many hidden gems. Specially, the different art exhibitions as I am very interested in Art. We got to speak to a few local people and visited the biggest bamboo factory in Oita! There were quite a few quirky shops for gifts. I also loved the cozy, aesthetic cafes. The tour guide was bilingual and very friendly. I would recommend it!★

With the JR Pass, sightseeing in Kitakyushu is very convenient. You can freely switch between unreserved and reserved seats, and you can also transfer to the Shinkansen. It's great value for money.★

Due to time constraints, we were unable to book a Chinese tour guide, so we opted for an English tour guide, which resulted in a truly memorable trip. He patiently explained the features and precautions along the way and the landscape, helped us take photos, and arranged the itinerary in a leisurely manner. He even added a special stop for us, the dam scene from "Attack on Titan" 🎬Trip.com Picks
