I joined the Lake Bled half-day tour from Ljubljana and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The lake itself is breathtaking—peaceful, turquoise waters surrounded by mountains, with a picture-perfect island and castle. Our tour guide was amazing—super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He even helped me take some beautiful photos at the best scenic spots, which I really appreciated. It was a small group tour, which made the whole trip feel relaxed and personal. There was no rush, just time to truly enjoy the stunning views, walk around the lake, and even try the famous Bled cream cake. I also met some lovely people on the tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a chill and memorable trip, perfect for anyone wanting to escape the city and connect with nature. I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Slovenia!

We did the half day tour from Ljubljana to lake bled with Emil and we were lucky enough to be the only customers so it was like a private tour. We were collected on time at 7:30am and were dropped off at the far side of lake bled for a lovely peaceful walk back to where the boats left and caught one at 9am to the island. It was nice to go across and see the island but it only takes a few minutes to walk around but we had 45 mins there which was a bit too long but this is the standard time. Unfortunately there was a very heavy mist so we couldn't see the castle at all, but Emil still drove us up there just so we could check but could not see anything so did not bother going in. Then just before we left we walked along the promenade for a few mins just as the cloud lifted and we finally saw the castle, the sun and blue skies - perfect! Emil was a great guide, really informative and wanted to give us the best tour and tried to shuffle the itinerary around to best suit the weather.

I didn't understand English well and ended up at the wrong meeting place, but I was able to meet up with the guide safely through communication on the app. They provided support even though I was alone in a completely unfamiliar place. Thank you very much.
