Rosy is local to Lecce. Therefore, she is able to share significant inside info about the history and culture of the city. There were an ample variety of local delicacies sampled, which made me regret having something to eat before the tour started.😅

The tour was supposed to be for just two tourists. Two more people on bicycles, speaking different languages, were added to our two-person rickshaw, resulting in both couples wasting time while the guide explained the tour in the other language.

Both Alberobello and Matera were very nice. Well worth taking this guided tour. We were very happy with our guide in Alberobello. She was full of knowledge regarding the area and made the visit very interesting and well worth the money. We were not pleased with the guide we had in Matera. When on a tour that we are paying for, we don’t want to hear about politics! It was mentioned several times which was not necessary! Pasqual ( not sure of spelling) was the guides name and was by far the worst of all the guides we had on our trip to Italy. The cities are definitely worth visiting!


