The connection was smooth and the installation was easy. I had no problems using it for several days in Seoul!

The signal and network speed are both great. I don't know how those negative reviews came about. I'm using an iPhone 17 Pro with this eSIM and the experience is excellent, including in Seoul. I also went to Busan and the signal was still great. The key is the affordable price. I'll definitely buy this again next time I go to Korea.

500MB Day Pass tested in Korea — and it really takes the cake (in a positive sense). For about €0.12 per day, you simply get 500MB of data. That is ridiculously cheap. WhatsApp, Google Maps, a bit of browsing — everything works without any hassle. The speed is just good, no annoying drops or throttling. For normal use while traveling, this is more than enough. You'll only drain it if you stream videos nonstop, but that is to be expected. Conclusion: for this price, this is a real no-brainer. Works well, costs next to nothing, and does what it's supposed to do.
Reviews: [Korea WIFI] SKT 4G Unlimited Data Pocket WIFI + Power Bank(Free Rental) | Korea Airport / Seoul Pick Up
Guest User2026-04-12
I used a pocket WiFi during my trip to South Korea and overall, it was a reliable and practical option, especially for staying connected throughout the day. The setup was very easy since I picked it up directly at the airport, and within minutes, I was already online. The internet speed was fast and stable, whether I was using maps, uploading photos, or browsing social media. It also worked well even when I traveled outside Seoul. One of the biggest advantages is that multiple devices can connect at the same time, which makes it ideal if you’re traveling with friends or family. However, the downside is that you need to carry it everywhere and make sure it stays charged. The battery usually lasts around 6–8 hours, so bringing a power bank is necessary for long days.
