Qilv Beijing APEC Huaihuai 2014.11.12 The city of Luyue is less smog, Huaguo grand meeting Pengxuan. The nest is bright and bright, The water hall is open and the song is open. Good peace and long road, Seek common ground and build a platform. Global attention to the East, I envy the purple air of the state. Note: Lulu means October of the lunar calendar. (voice on chai) means people of the same class and kind. Water Temple here refers to the water cube.

Our family is on a British Isles cruise and stopped in Belfast yesterday. Lisa from CitySightSeeing was easy to find, standing right outside of the gift shop at the pier. The coach was comfortable and our driver Joe expeditiously drove us up the freeway in order to beat most of the crowds at Dunluce Castle and Giant’s Causeway. Lisa was a well spoken and very knowledgeable guide who kept us entertained throughout our time in the coach. We learned a lot about the people, history, and folklore of Northern Ireland. We had enough time to walk down the entire path at Giant’s Causeway and take pictures but not a lot more. This was fine because we had so much more to see. If you haven’t been to Giant’s Causeway, it is a must see because of its beauty and uniqueness. On the way back, Joe drove us down the scenic coast. We stopped for a view of the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Sadly, we were not able to walk across the bridge because while it was closed during Covid, it was discovered that the coaches were damaging the natural flora so they are now prohibited. The view was pretty though. We stopped in a very cute small town for lunch at a pub called Harry’s. The upstairs was mostly reserved for our group and we had a limited menu of five or six entrees so they could serve us quickly. The food was adequate. Nothing to write home about but perfectly acceptable. We made one more stop off for pictures of Carrickfergus Castle before heading to Belfast for a historical commentary and viewing of the various murals. At our tour’s conclusion we were dropped off quite close to our ship with plenty of time to spare. Overall this was an amazing tour at a fraction of the price of going through the cruise ship. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone coming to Belfast via cruise ship. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing day!! Decided to do something different for my birthday. What better way than to explore what Northern Ireland has to offer? Picked up from a designated spot by 9am and dropped off at the same spot. Our driver Dave was brilliant! Kept us entertained all day, fair play to him. He was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the trip - he was full of facts, tidbits and anecdotes. We visited Cerrickfergus castle, The Dark Hedges, Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway. We travelled along Antrim costal road which was absolutely beautiful. Really, an AMAZING day out!! I went on NYE. My only advice, wrap up, and bring your woolies because it was windy and freezing!!!!

Our tour guide Quiggs and driver Brian did exellent job! Brian was very friendly and did his part exellent. Quiggs was very informative during whole tour. We got many really interestings facts about our tours places, but Quiggs also told us wide selection of Ireland history. When someone from our group wanted to know something or was having some kind of problem Quiggs helped them immediately. He told food and drink tips, where to visit and how organize all things that you got best possible experience from the tour. He was really energetic from early morning to the end of the tour - and same time he hosted our group really good. Tour itself was really good. You get enought time to see most decent places and we didn’t have to rush whole day. I highly recommend this Finn McCool tour - specially if you are lucky enought to get Quiggs and Brian with you! Quiggs is easily one of the best tour guides that I have ever have had - and I’m frequently using different kind of tours.
