Andreas was full of information about all of the stops on this tour. He was able to answer all of our (and the others guests) questions. He brought us to a beautiful picture point to see islet vila do campo and at the end brought us to the top of the volcanic crater (about 2000 meters up). This allowed us to see all of the Furnas (including the church that we stopped at earlier that day) in a whole new way. He was very very articulate with explaining the process for both the tea and the pineapple plantations. This tour was a good balance (about 50/50) of structured group time and independent time to explore the stops.

This was an amazing experience and one I will never forget. We went whale watching in early March and were incredibly lucky to see both common dolphins and humpback whales. Seeing these animals in their natural environment was truly special and felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment that I will carry with me forever. The experience was made even better by the fact that we were accompanied by a marine biologist who was clearly so passionate about her work. It was wonderful to learn from someone so knowledgeable while witnessing such incredible wildlife. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting the Azores.

Mario showed and explained many impressive places on St. Miguel to us in a very competent, empathetic, and thorough manner, leaving no questions unanswered. We learned a great deal and had a lot of fun.

We had an amazing day in Azores and we cannot be more grateful to our guide Bruno who was simply A-MA-ZING!! He really made our short visit to São Miguel trully unforgetable. Bruno is passionate about his home place and very knowledgeable about these islands history, identity, culture and everything really. We absolutely reccommend this tour!!


