Coverage was good, but internet connectivity suffered drop-outs and slowness at times (probably caused by the local infrastructure rather than the eSIM).

The eSIM was fine connectivity-wise, never had an issue getting a signal, even in the mountainous regions. The problem was with the Sri Lankan mobile network, lots of dropouts, even in bigger cities like Kandy. I'm not sure if any other eSIM would make any difference, as it's an infrastructure problem, not an eSIM problem. Our accommodation WiFi has predominantly been with Dialog mobile broadband, which has been worse than the internet connectivity attained through the eSIM on several occasions over the past 10 days. So I used the eSIM to hotspot quite a lot, rather than relying on the WiFi.

The main advantage is convenience. You can get in touch as soon as you land... but... the price at the airport is the same or even cheaper, so you can buy it there. It's probably even cheaper in the city... so the choice is yours. The quality is so-so compared to Thailand.

I always use it when I come back to Japan during my trip around the world. It's easy to connect to the internet, so I can use mobile payments like Mobile Suica and Rakuten Pay.

I had forgotten that Andorra is outside the EU, so I was frantically searching for a good e-SIM card, and I found this! It was quick to use and extremely convenient. While e-SIM cards from Japan cover larger countries, they don't cover principalities like Andorra, so I was relieved to find this one!
