Reviews: Hands-on High End Peruvian Cooking Class & San Pedro Market Visit
Guest User2024-07-04
This experience with Alvaro was MAGICAL. I never thought a cooking class and market tour would be SOOOO COOOL. I wish I could redo this experience over and over again. The information he provided was so interesting and informative. The food we cooked was SO SO GOOD. He sent me the recipes via email , so when I got home I immediately started shopping for where to buy groceries to recreate our delicious meals. Alvaro was VERY interactive and entertaining with our group. 10/10 experience!!
Reviews: Peruvian Cooking Class and Local Market in Cusco

This cooking class was a great way to learn about local cuisine and eat delicious food! I really loved learning how to make ceviche as we learned 3 recipes. We started with a tour of the San Pedro market. My family hadn’t previously visited the market and this was a great discovery for us, that we came back to afterwards.

This experience with Ronal was a memory maker. He is so kind and knowledgeable. After an introduction, he took us to San Pedro market and showed us the unique products offered in Peru. The cooking instructions were clear and hands on. We had the best meal of our trip!! Don’t miss this experience!!
Reviews: Via Ferrata & Zip Line at the Sacred Valley with lunch

Easily the most fun part of my trip to Peru, great guides and amazing views! Not very physically demanding (it's like climbing a ladder), and they make sure everyone feels safe and secure. They take it slow and steady-climbing up took a bit over an hour with plenty of rest, and then we took a series of 6 ziplines back down.
Reviews: The 10 Tastings of Cusco With Locals: Private Food Tour
Guest User2025-06-18
We booked this private food tour in Cusco with Angelo, and it honestly felt like hanging out with a friend who knows the city inside and out. He went out of his way to accommodate my girlfriend’s many allergies (no pumpkin, avocado, milk, etc.), customizing stops like a fresh smoothie with tomato, orange, and some unknown Peruvian fruit — no artificial sweeteners, just pure local flavor. We tried sugarcane off the street, something that felt totally authentic and un-touristy, and a passionfruit-like fruit that was tart and refreshing. One of the more “sit-down” moments was a stop for roasted chicken and fries (photo attached), super simple but really well done. Angelo also made the experience personal — we chatted about anime, Tekken, Rubik’s cubes, and he even made me a 20-minute video after the tour showing me how to solve one. Totally above and beyond. The tour lasted the full 3 hours, and while I can’t confirm every one of the “10 tastings,” the vibe was relaxed and real — not rushed or staged. If you’re looking for a rigid checklist tour, this might not be for you. But if you want to experience the food culture and connect with a cool local who listens, adapts, and cares, Angelo’s your guy. Highly recommend.
