Reviews: WOWPASS Card

Wowpass is an essential item for any trip to South Korea, and it's incredibly convenient because you can get your tickets issued locally simply by scanning a QR code. For first-time visitors to Korea, it's especially recommended to book in Japanese and then pick up your tickets upon arrival.

I purchased a 4-night, 2GB daily plan. I used Wi-Fi at the accommodation. Outdoors, I used maps, web searches, Google Translate, and occasionally Instagram. The speed never slowed down, and it was very comfortable! I didn't use customer support this time, so I'm giving it an average rating.

Perfect for people coming to China. Easy to use, convenient, connects to the internet and works fine, not too slow.

Upon arriving in Busan, there was no Wi-Fi available to activate my eSIM right after disembarking, which made me a little nervous (because I needed to use Uber later). After clearing customs, I found Wi-Fi in the airport terminal, though the signal wasn't very stable, and I could activate my eSIM there. I spent five days in the west side of the airport, and while the signal was unstable for a few short periods, it was generally good. A friend suggested activating the eSIM while there's a Wi-Fi signal in Taiwan so it's usable upon arrival, but this might start the activation time earlier, so it's a matter of personal preference. I would definitely consider repurchasing it later.

No physical SIM needed You don’t need to insert or swap cards — everything is digital. Easy to switch networks You can change carriers or plans instantly (useful for travel). Dual SIM convenience You can use one physical SIM + one eSIM at the same time (e.g., work + personal).
