My best decision on this trip to Vietnam was to ditch my physical SIM card and switch to an eSIM! Buy online and use immediately: I bought it on TripAdvisor the day before departure. I received a QR code in my email, scanned it, and it was installed—no waiting for logistics. Practical experience: The signal was incredibly stable. I visited attractions in Ho Chi Minh City and its suburbs, and the network was almost always at full strength. City Navigation: Finding cafes in Ho Chi Minh City's alleyways is incredibly accurate with Google Maps. Ride-Hailing Godlike Assistance: Grab rides run smoothly without any lag, and messaging drivers is instantaneous. Uploading Beautiful Photos: Take tons of photos at the Pink Church and the coffee shop apartment, and post them non-stop without any issues!
