Reviews: Clearwater Wildlife Tours (small group 10max) Otago Peninsula
Guest User2024-10-20
Toured in a small van to private farm on Otago Peninsula. Our guide Paula was friendly and kind and knows everything about penguins! We visited the fur seal colony and saw sea lions on the beach. Also lots of sheep and lambs, and Paula pointed out the native birds. The landscape is stunningly beautiful. We had a great time.

Reviews: Dunedin: Wildlife and Penguin Tour

Because we took a daytime tour, we weren't able to see the wild penguins, but we did get to see sea lions, pukekos, and baby penguins quietly nestling in their nests. It was so cute to see the penguins undergoing rehabilitation. We didn't have a car, so we took the bus, which was great as it was close to the bus stop. You can also rent binoculars and raincoats.

Great experience. Annika was fantastic and a great tour guide. The tour had all the details of the beers and all about how you brew the beer.
Reviews: Iconic Shore Excursion: Dunedin City Highlights Tour

Alan is knowledgable on Dunedin and history of NZ. He is very informative. He also drove with care with 18 of us in a mini bus. A lot of getting in and out of bus to visit places. Also had about an hour of free time around Dunedin town centre for a quick lunch and some souvenir shopping. If you are arriving on a cruise ship, they can only enter the wharf to meet you 15mins before the actual meet time. They will have a sign for Iconic Tours. This tour picks up and drops off at the wharf which saves you $30 on a return shuttle.
