The Hop-On Hop-Off bus delivered me to all the sites that I wanted to visit. Highly recommend downloading the Turistik App so that you can time your visits to the places of interest and get to the designated bus stops ready for your onward journey. The audio messaging helped me to know more about Santiago beyond just the sites that I visited. Cable car and Funicular combo is a recommended inclusion for great views of Santiago. The signage to get from the bus stop down the suburban street to the Cable Car was not great but I followed the team’s “Go that way” direction as I stepped off the bus and a short walk later I was there.

This trip involved visiting three countries in a short period with very short stays at each location. While purchasing separate eSIMs might be cheaper, it wouldn't be possible to predict data usage in each location. So, I opted for an eSIM that works in 100 different regions, which is incredibly convenient. Although customer service advised activating it upon arrival, since it included Taiwan, I installed and activated it in Taiwan before boarding. Plus, it's calculated 24/7, which is truly fantastic.
