We bought a global e-SIM with 1GB per day (enough for instant messaging and Google Maps for two users, as it shares data). Our goal is to travel across four countries. We've traveled through two countries so far, and everything works fine. Initially, we had to manually configure the e-SIM because the hotspot for data tethering wasn't working. Very friendly family run Homestay , close to walking street and the room is clean , walk thru alley and no cars pass by but accessible with motorcycle
