Gustavo messaged us the night before our tour to confirm pick up details. He was a professional, polite and friendly guide and extremely knowledgeable. He made our tour super interesting. Our driver, Henry was also very professional. We did the walking tour of Antigua, had an hour in our own to look around the shops, cafes etc and then drove to the plantation for coffee and chocolate tours and samples. We had a lovely meal at the plantation and it had lots of vegan and vegetarian options.

The beauty of the lake was incredible! San Juan was lovely, visiting co-ops (weaving, chocolate, 🐝 keeping ) was interesting and the guides were very knowledgeable. The stops on the islands were a little rushed, I would’ve liked a bit more free time on each island.

The guide Esteban was exceptional, took us everywhere, listened to our wishes, knew english perfectly (which we learned is a rarity in Guatenala) and the best of all he was exceptinally knowledgeable about attractions in the city. VERY BIG recommendations for this!

Enjoyed our tour with Mirko who spoke very good English. He gave us many facts about the history, culture and politics of Guatemala. The tour duration was good, with half day spent in Antigua and the other half part at the Iximche archeological ruins.


