Using the pass is very convenient; you receive a notification very quickly after purchasing it. We used it to visit Hiroshima, Onomichi, Kurashiki, and Kojima. You can also reserve seats on the machines, making it perfect for tourists. Highly recommended!★

I got back almost twice the ticket price, checked off all the train models on the Kitakyushu Sanyo Shinkansen, and even took the Miyajima ferry (but there was a 100 yen island entry tax).
