The day trip was worth it to see the coast of Kyoto. Yuri was a delightful guide who not only had to be our driver because of the small number in our group, but she was also very informative about the places we visited. The pace of the trip was relaxed and we had plenty of time to explore the two stops.

It was a really great trip. Matt guided us through the excursion with fantastic energy, fun facts, and humor. He also provided us with detailed information about the meeting point and the excursion beforehand via WhatsApp. The group chat for updates and meeting points back at the bus was incredibly helpful. I wish we'd had more time in the two parks; there definitely wasn't enough time, and it would have been great to know beforehand that flower seeds can't be taken abroad (without special permission). In conclusion, I can only say that Matt is a fantastic tour guide, and we would have loved to have a little more time in the parks.

Excellent experience. Our guide was friendly, clear in her communication and the tour ran on time. Having a bus service to Hitachi and Ashikaga flower park took the stress out of trying to get to these locations ourselves. Beautiful scenery and a bonus that the nemophila (blue flowers) were in bloom when we visited. I only wish we had more time at Hitachi park, as there was more to see than the scheduled time allowed for. Ashikaga was also pretty, but probably had too much time there.


