Many thanks to Nico and the crew for a wonderful morning trip where we got to see both pilot whales and dolphins.
We were rescheduled from 2 days earlier, due to the poor weather, but re-arranging was straightforward and we got plenty of notice. On the day we did get to go out, the crew went out of the way to make sure that we felt at home, that we always had food and drink whenever we needed, and to help explain what we were seeing.
We also appreciated that the boat never felt overcrowded and there was plenty of seating. Unlike some of the other operators which looked crammed full of passengers. So, yes you're paying more, but we thought that it was worth it.
A bonus was that one of the crew went around to take photos not just of the sea life but also of us.★

Fantastic day with our guide/driver Lino. We left on time, had a great initial contact and a good overview of the day. He was a careful driver who spoke French, and an expert guide on the places to visit. We had a wonderful safari in Serra de Água, Ginjas, Poúl da Serro, Fanal, Porto Moniz, and Seixal. I highly recommend Green Devil 4x4 safaris.★

We had a fantastic experience all around. We departed on time, saw turtles, dolphins, and whales, and were out for three hours as planned. The guide also shared some information about the animals. Drinks were available on board. On the return trip, the waves were a bit rougher, and a few guests got wet (that's the risk of sitting at the front of a catamaran) – but beach towels and paper towels for wet cameras were provided. We would definitely recommend this experience!
