We had such a fun evening on this experience – the boat trip, cabaret show, and immersive Dia cultural show were all brilliant. Even though we didn’t understand a word of Chinese, it honestly didn’t matter at all – the atmosphere, visuals, and performances made it really enjoyable from start to finish. We had VIP tickets which included the buffet. I have a shellfish allergy, so I asked which dishes contained fish or shellfish. A few had to be removed from my plate, which I’m completely used to when travelling, so I didn’t think much more of it. About 15 minutes later, one of the staff came back with a freshly prepared crispy chicken dish just for me. I was genuinely touched by the thought and care they showed – it really made me feel looked after. A really memorable evening and such a lovely experience overall. Highly recommend 😊

Junlan usually offers package deals, generally around 1,000 RMB per day, with many complimentary items. During the Spring Festival, I heard it would cost 5,000 RMB per day. The beach was relatively clean and less crowded. This is because Junlan is located at the very end of Sanya Bay, and the seawater there is less pristine than at Yalong Bay. A taxi ride costs over 40 RMB to reach the more bustling areas of Sanya Bay; otherwise, you'd have to eat at the hotel. The swimming pool wasn't very large, and because the children's pool was too shallow, my 10-year-old said he hit his head on the bottom when he slid down the slide.
