Lately, I always use an eSIM when traveling abroad. If you install and set it up beforehand, you can use the internet the moment you get off the plane. It's incredibly convenient because you don't have to bother taking out your passport or removing your physical SIM card, and there's no risk of losing it. Plus, it's cheap.
This time, I enjoyed the Songkran water festival in Bangkok. It was peaceful and wonderful to see adults and children splashing water on each other and having fun!★

After activation, it worked without any problems. 0.5GB for about 6 hours during my transit cost only 14 yen! I was surprised by how incredibly cheap it was. I used Grab frequently, so the speed slowed down on the way to the airport on my return trip, but I think 1GB per day should be more than enough.
