Before departing for Malaysia, I purchased the service and scanned the QR code via the app. Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), while the plane was still taxiing, I simply switched my mobile data line in my phone settings, and within seconds, I had a local mobile signal. In contrast, watching other passengers queuing at airport counters to collect their SIM cards and unpack them, the sense of technological superiority was indescribable. 2. Signal Performance: Comprehensive Coverage in Urban and Rural Areas The focus of this test was signal stability. In Kuala Lumpur city center, whether in the underground shopping mall of the Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC) or the bustling Bukit Bintang, the internet speed remained consistently excellent. Even on high-rise hotel floors, upload and download speeds were stable, a significant advantage for those who need to upload high-quality travel photos or make video calls frequently. I then traveled to Penang in the north and some more remote suburbs. Surprisingly, even on long-distance buses, signal switching was incredibly smooth. Navigating through the alleyways of some older towns was seamless, with no map loading delays, a great source of reassurance for tourists relying on Google Maps to find local restaurants.
