We have had a memorable experience at Smart Thai Cooking. Learning about ingredients, making Curry paste from scratch and eating every bit with friends made this cooking class really special. The cooking instructor was amazingly adaptable, knowledgeable and generous as she shared her skills with us. ★

Interactive experience with great cooking instructors. We learned about key ingredients to make curry pastes and the different ways to make Thai curries (green, red, yellow, panang, and massaman). Aside from curry, there were options to cook other popular Thai dishes including fried rice, pad Thai, chicken cashew, chicken basil, laab, morning glory, tom yum, spring rolls/egg rolls, bua loi, and mango sticky rice.
Come hungry. If you go with a group of friends, choose different dishes to cook. You’ll have an opportunity to see how other dishes are made and you can eat family style at the end.★

Booking this course was a great decision, it was such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend and would definitely do it again. New was amazing, vivacious and knowledgeable. After the pick up from the hotel we headed to the market and the lesson started. She educated us on many of the fruits, herbs and veg, had us try a few treats before heading to the school itself. After selecting our various preferred dishes, we got straight to it . There were a few other lovely ladies there who helped to clean up whilst we cooked. I still cannot believe I made panang curry paste from stratch! This was certainly one of the highlights of my holiday in Thailand.
