A very convenient pass! We used it to visit several places from Osaka: Hiroshima and Miyajima, Himeji, Kurashiki, Okayama, and Kyoto. We activated it at Kansai Airport. It took us a while to figure out how to buy tickets from the machine. It turns out you have to insert them one at a time, not a bunch.

The 7-day Seto Inland Sea Pass is a must-have, offering exceptional value. This trip included the Sanyo Shinkansen from Hakata to Hiroshima, Ono, Okayama, and Osaka, as well as the ferry from Hiroshima to Matsuyama. I also visited famous landmarks like Shimonada Station and Imabari Station, a cyclist's paradise. The Shodoshima ferry is also available. I bought the Okayama & Hiroshima & Yamaguchi Area Rail Pass for my trip to Miyajima, Kintai Bridge, Onomichi, Okayama, and Takamatsu in Okayama, Hiroshima, and Yamaguchi. The latest price is 17,000 yen, but it's 828 yuan on Ctrip. It's valid for travel between Hakata and Okayama in Kyushu. I exchanged the ticket at the West Japan Green Window at JR Hakata Station; it was very convenient.
