The excursion started off promisingly: the driver met us at the hotel, and we communicated via WeChat and a translator. However, when we checked the route, it turned out that the first location wasn't on our itinerary. The driver couldn't clearly explain what this place was, why we were there, and what to do next. An unpleasant conversation escalated into a conversation with the organizer, but we still couldn't figure out whether it was a glitch at the top and the driver wasn't given our plan, or whether she herself didn't understand us, despite the list and screenshots from Trip. Luckily, we were then taken to the Silver Cave—an incredibly beautiful place that instantly lifted our spirits. After we got off, the same driver informed us that they were changing drivers, and the new one turned out to be a real savior: he took us to all the points, showed us everything, took a million amazing photos—a hero! Thanks to him, the excursion was a success. We figured out the rest of the translation details ourselves—it's no one's fault that we don't know. Chinese, we adapted, and in the end, everything worked out great. Thanks to the driver and team for their professionalism and service!Trip.com picks
