What an experience! Was on holiday Pisa Italy. Would like to visit a winery. Found Tenuta Adamo which is 12 km north of Lucca which is 1/2 hour by train from Pisa. Called at 9 and asked if we could come in the afternoon and how we got up there from Lucca. No problems will be picked up at the station and driven back. Everything at a reasonable price according to Azinda / the owner. Tasted 5 different wines, cheese, sausages and ham. Wow, how delicious it was. Sat outside and had an unobstructed view of the vineyards. Definitely the best experience on our holiday. Price more than fare, good price. Many thanks Azienda, wife and employees. Beautiful gardens-reminds me of Versailles-without the crazy crowds. Amazing restoration of the property and enjoyed seeing the before and after pictures. Enjoy a sandwich and cappuccino at the cafe and you will feel like royalty!

Our guide, Marta, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, interesting, humorous and shared her Italian history and culture passionately. She was also caring and considerate towards the people on the tour. The walking was gentle and the tour provided a good oversight into Lucca's history and main points of interest. There were opportunities for questions and discussion. A thoroughly enjoyable tour.

Absolutely perfect day. Manuelo made our day a fantastic experience, we were lucky to get him. I felt comfortable and safe with his driving. He was personable, a great sense of humor and he was flexible with the stops we wanted to make. He brought us to each stop in Cinque Terre and made it easy for us to see everything. He brought us to a spectacular vista off the beaten path. He also brought us to a non-tourist restaurant just outside of town which was excellent.


