Bolivia was the first leg of my trip - after a few days in La Paz I started my month-long trip with Bolivia/Peru Hop. (Peru Hop is a separate review). We were picked up at our hotel at the break of dawn and drove for a few hours to Copacabana where we had lunch before heading to Isla del Sol for an 1 and 1/2 hour hike at over 4,000 meters. Afterward, we headed to the Peruvian border. Abner our guide was present at every step of the trip, providing us with important information, and making sure everyone was comfortable and well-informed while being considerate friendly, and professional. 5-star services!

Visiting Copacabana and Isla del Sol is a highly recommended experience. They are beautiful places with a rich history. Although the trip is long, it's well worth it. The transportation was very comfortable, and our guide, Andrés, was incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, and very careful to ensure our well-being, especially considering the altitude. Bolivia-Hop, the tour company that organized this excursion, provided excellent service.
