It was wonderful. It is recommended to go only with a local, well-trained driver who knows the place. An amateur driver can get into trouble. However, the experience is fantastic.

Angelica and Celeste made sure we had a great tour! They showed us quite a bit and were also very informative about the things they showed us and the places we drove past. This made the tour very enjoyable and interesting. Both ladies always remain cheerful and positive, no matter what. We now even know that Celeste can change a tire on a Ford Transit! ;) We had a great time!

We saw many highlights in one day: via the southeast coast to Arucas and Teror, and then via "the summit" to Fataga (aloe vera plantation and shop). We had a fantastic day with our guide Tom and driver Alexander! Tom told us a lot about Gran Canaria (in several languages) throughout the trip. He took plenty of time at every stop to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the view. The lunch stop was delicious tapas with drinks (optional), and the view was breathtaking! Excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended.

In those 8 hours, we really saw a lot of the island. The route was varied and gave us a good overall impression of Gran Canaria. At some stops, we would have liked a little more time to enjoy a coffee or savor the places a bit longer, but otherwise, we probably wouldn't have been able to stick to the schedule. The route itself is quite challenging in places: you drive for 2-3 hours through the mountains, with many curves, which can be quite dizzying at times. The visit to the banana plantation was a very welcome change of pace. The guide deserves special mention; he was very friendly, attentive, and communicative. He seemed to chat with every single guest and created a pleasant atmosphere.


