A really great tour! I was picked up from my hotel on time, after which we explored Mindello. That took about an hour. Then we drove around the island a bit, as described. A cup of tea or coffee at the top with a small rum tasting (included). The tour continued north to Calhau. We had a delicious meal there (not included). The guide was very friendly and informative. Excellent!★

The pickup service was fantastic! I'd overslept and we were at the wrong pickup point. I immediately called and sent a WhatsApp message, and they picked us up right at the "wrong" spot. Absolutely brilliant! Swimming and snorkeling with the turtles was amazing. Our guide took excellent care of us; it was an incredible feeling to have such a giant turtle about 50cm below us. Highly recommended!★

We had such a good time. This was THE experience that we were looking for. We really got to taste the authentic and pure side of Cape Verde, literally. Perfect way to get your bearings in Mindelo and check out the different food and musical offerings around town. Marion exudes a love for the country of Cape Verde since emigrating years ago and knows many of the people around town, wanting to highlight great up and coming musicians and artists. Was especially grateful to Marion for doing the tour when it was just me as a solo traveler.★

WELL WORTH YOUR MONEY AND TIME!
We were here for 1 day due to a Cruise stop in Mindelo.
We had a small group of 8 (Total of 10 with driver & guide)
Full day of wonderful sights
Very nice lunch (which is included) in a local restaurant served family style (extra if you want sodas, wine or beer) water is served (bottled)
Small bus, not able to accommodate mobility scooters or wheelchairs as isle and Bus is narrow.
Our day visit was March 17, 2024 a Sunday and the town of Mindelo was pretty much shut down. This tour takes place away from Mindelo.
Highly recommend
Pick-up for us was away from the ship on cruise terminal (right off the street) be proactive and look for your name (sigh) ★

Danny was the perfect tour guideline. Santo Antao is his home island, he know a lot about its culture and heritage, speaks good English and French an is a very open minded guy with a lot if respect for his clients.
