I spent four days in Kuala Lumpur. I was able to connect immediately upon arrival, and I didn't encounter any problems during my stay. I was a little worried that 5GB wouldn't be enough since I planned to use social media and map apps as I would in Japan, so I opted for 10GB. In the end, I used a little over 5GB, but the price difference wasn't significant, so I think choosing 10GB is stress-free if you're staying for three days or more! It was my first time using Trip.com's eSIM, and I wasn't used to the screen display at first, but the chat support responded quickly and resolved the issue immediately, which was very reassuring. I will definitely use it again when I travel to another country!

For this trip to Malaysia, I chose to use an eSIM. There was no need to change to a physical SIM card, and I didn't have to worry about losing my original card. I installed it before departure, and upon arrival in Malaysia, I could immediately connect to the internet by activating data roaming. Whether using Google Maps for navigation, checking attraction information, calling a taxi, translating, or sharing travel photos, the network was consistently stable, making the entire trip much smoother. For frequent travelers, eSIMs really save a lot of trouble. No need to queue at the airport to buy a SIM card, and no need to carry a sharing device; just turn it on on your phone and it works. I highly recommend it to first-time independent travelers to Malaysia.
