I never had 5G so that was a bit misleading. Also, the internet in Sri Lanka in general is just so slow, regardless of which network/SIM card. This eSIM got the job done. Had coverage in most areas

The main advantage is convenience. You can get in touch as soon as you land... but... the price at the airport is the same or even cheaper, so you can buy it there. It's probably even cheaper in the city... so the choice is yours. The quality is so-so compared to Thailand.
