Overall I will recommend to use this while travelling to Malaysia and Before travelling you must activate your eSIM as roaming once landed it active automatically.

We came to Malaysia for two weeks, booked two eSIMs beforehand. It was easy to install, easy to use. In the first day though I went beyond a 2Gb limit. The connection stayed yet was way too slow. So we learned the lesson and used wifi where possible and saved data for the places we traveled to. Overall, im very satisfied with my experience ☺️

First, we recommend installing the eSIM in advance in a location with a Wi-Fi connection. Before installation, it's best to turn off "Mobile Data" and "Data Roaming" for the eSIM in your smartphone's "Mobile Network" settings. On the other hand, if you leave your smartphone's original SIM active, the eSIM will install in standby mode. Once the installation is complete, you'll receive a message saying "Your SIM/eSIM is installed!". Furthermore, you'll be given clear instructions on how to activate it locally, such as "When you arrive, please enable "Data Roaming" in settings to activate your data plan," so even first-time users won't get lost. Upon arrival, simply activate the standby eSIM and confirm that "Mobile Data" and "Data Roaming" are turned ON, and you can start communicating immediately. In Bali, we connected to TELKOMSEL's network, known for its stable communication quality. While the communication speed isn't exceptionally fast, it's sufficient for everyday use such as map apps, social media, and web browsing. Above all, the biggest advantage was the stable communication available regardless of location. It's reasonably priced, easy to set up, and offers stable connectivity, making it a highly recommended eSIM that you can use with confidence.

No issues at all. This was for my dad so he scanned the QR code and had no issues setup was fine. FYI it can take some time setting up, let it do its thing and it’ll work. Don’t stress if it takes a while loading.

Overall very good, smooth and strong signals seamless across Malaysia and Singapore. Only slight one is that first connection took a long time due to fiddling with APN related setting etc, but in the end only needed a restart. But it’s ok, I should have tried that first. Maybe good to add in the instructions.

Whenever I travel abroad, I always use Trip's e-sim. It's easy to install, affordable, easy to buy, and the internet is incredibly fast. Even up in the mountains, the internet still works perfectly.
