I used this for a temporary return to Japan. It's cheaper than Japanese budget SIM cards. Connecting is very easy; you just tap the install button in the app. However, since the connection originates outside of Japan, PayPay may not be available. Nevertheless, I would like to use it again next time.★

This is my second purchase. Installation via Ctrip was very quick; even with minor friction, it wouldn't start, but a restart fixed it. Once in Japan, it worked perfectly after disabling airplane mode, no settings required, and I encountered no problems. It mostly uses LTE, but it works smoothly, and the signal doesn't drop on the subway. Overall, a great user experience.★

I've been to Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Hirashima, Tokyo. Arima Onsen had 5G everywhere, and in some places, except for Arima Onsen, there was excellent 4G. Excellent esim.
