If you are someone who loves oysters, then if you are visiting Coffin Bay this tour is a must. It’s a couple of hours learning some Coffin Bay history and a quick overview of how oysters are farmed. Pull on the provided waders and splash out into the water to a pontoon where you are given the info, shown how to shuck and then given half a dozen fat juicy oysters to shuck and eat! Bliss! Fresh, rinsed in the crystal clear water of the Bay - deelish! ! Special thank you to Melissa who conducted our tour - friendly, cheerful and ready to answer any questions - and after shucking 40 doz oysters earlier in the morning, she was some teacher! Totally recommend this tour.
