We had an exceptional experience at Fado na Baixa in Porto. The performance featured highly professional musicians and singers who delivered traditional fado music with remarkable passion and emotion. Their beautiful performances truly moved the audience. Between the live performances, the show included informative video clips that explored the history of fado, including the Coimbra style of fado and the important role of female fado singers. Learning about the origins and evolution of this music greatly deepened our appreciation of what we were hearing. The space itself was super intimate and cozy, which made the experience feel even more personal and immersive. If we return to Portugal, we would definitely love to experience this performance again. We strongly recommend Fado na Baixa to all visitors to Portugal.

Fernanda is an excellent instructor!! Patient and informative and very calming. It was so much fun, on my last day in Porto after seeing my hiking friend off to the airport, I painted 3 more tiles as the pattern I picked made a larger pattern. They will go in my back splash over the stove.

This whole visit was really good. Even though we don't speak Portuguese, the Fado show was excellent. Worth the money and highly recommend this experience


