Elian was an amazing chauffeur and tour guide for Jonathan and I. We hired him to take us around Puerto Plata. He showed us the tourist highlights, but also some local fare. He even pointed out his dad and introduced us to his sister, who happened to be playing in the band at the town square. We enjoyed our tour with him so much that we asked him to take us out again the following day to the cable car and then for lunch and a brief tour of Sosua.
He quickly inferred our interests and showed us some of the beaten track places. He even introduced us to Pico de Pollo, which was delicious.
We both highly recommend him. ★

Our guide, Raul, picked us up from the port on time, whisked us to the waterfall and zip lining location, gave us water, and after the activity we ate at the buffet on site. Then Raul drove us back to the port. Edwin Tours was easy to communicate with, was prompt and courteous. We had quite the adventure with this tour, it was very physical but exhilarating. So much fun!★

The experience was amazing. We got picked up on the time and they drove his to Sosua port. We went on catamaran with no hustle. It is big and nice. We went to the two diving locations and it was wonderful. It is very safe and it was always safety guards around. The lunch was amazing and Michael Jackson’s performance is awesome. Recommend for everyone once in Puerto Plata. Small suggestion- buy a photo and video package especially if you are diving. ★

Reviews: Four Wheels Drive/ATV'S Tour

This was the best bang for your buck! When we arrived, we immediately hopped on the ATV’s. Dani, our tour guide, went way beyond expectations for this excursion. He allowed us to ride the ATVs for at least two hours with making multiple stops throughout the way so that we could see the life of the Dominicans and get drinks and beverages. After we finished riding the ATVs, our taxi driver, then took us to downtown area and umbrella District the Amber Museum and offered more stops, but we had to head back to the boat. If you’re looking for an excursion off the boat that is not crazy expensive and you want the most for your buck, this is your excursion.
