Reviews: Skip the Line Christ the Redeemer Admission Ticket
Guest User2025-07-29
Before writing this review, let’s make a few points clear: 1. You need to show the bar code on your phone at the ticketing booth at the CORCOVADO station in order to get your “physical” tickets. Once you have your physical tickets then you will get wrist bands to skip the line and wait for the train to take you up to the “Christ the Redeemer.” 2. The price you pay for “skip the line” includes everything! The train and the statue. No need to pay for anything else. 3. Definitely take an Uber to the CORCOVADO station. You don’t need to bother with the subway or the bus to get you there. Ubers are extremely cheap in Rio and will pick you up from anywhere. 4. Definitely get there before 8:30 The place starts to get really crowded after 9:30 5. Make sure to sit on the right side of the train going up to catch a better view and obviously the left side on the way down.

Mario was a great guide, he took us to see many great parts of the favela. We ate some of the best Açaí in Rio! He also took us to his home where he has the best view in all the Favela’s. Thanks Mario, we had fun!
Reviews: Rio de Janeiro: Little Africa Heritage Walking Tour

Ryane is an all inspiring intelligent vibrant young person who is so passionate and motivated to tell her story. I learnt so much about the history of slave times and the birth of Samba. I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour and could listen to Ryane for hours. It would be great if the tour could be extended to include lunch at that Plaza with the bars and restaurants and the ballerina statue. I would have loved to try some African food. I wish Ryane all the very best. She has definitely chosen her career well and is an asset to her community.
Reviews: Rocinha Walking Tour: Get a Feel for the Brazil's Largest Favela (Shared Group)

Erik was fantastic. I took my partner to Rocinha for the first time and wanted him to see rocinha with a local, and have a full experience: eat loca food, walk the alleys, learn about the history of Rocinha etc. we had it all with Erik, and it was a great and memorable experience for both of us. Highly recommend.
Reviews: Learn the History of Rio with an Unforgettable City Center Walking Tour
Guest User2024-03-25
Joined this tour with my son and had Jessica who gave us the background & history regarding the city. There were only 3 of us on the English tour as the majority went on the Portuguese tour. Jessica was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly and showed us Theatro Municipal, the main Library, Cineland, Selarón Steps, Lapa Arches, the awesome Cathedral etc. She did a good job and also helped us in finding football match tickets for the Carioca Cup Semi Finals at Maracana Stadium that night with pick up and drop off from our hotel! Very impressed and highly recommend her for the city tour should you require a brilliant tour guide for Rio. Remember to tip generously too! Highly recommended!!
