Reviews: Hobart seafood cruise in Tasmania (enjoy southern rock lobster, abalone, salmon, and more)
Guest User2026-03-21
I joined another family of five on this seafood cruise. The crew members, Thomas and Kate, were very friendly and introduced us to local water attractions and shared their experience in catching and cooking seafood. Perhaps because our group was small, there was plenty of space and food on board. Unlimited refills of spirits, sparkling wine, and soft drinks were provided, and we disembarked as soon as we were full.

It was a foreign tour group, and the entire tour was conducted in English. The cruise was spectacular; we saw unique landforms, seals, and the biggest surprise was seeing many dolphins. Brunch was simple: coffee and bread. Lunch was sandwiches. We also visited the Port Arthur historical site to see the prison. The environment inside was excellent and very beautiful, just be careful as there was a lot of what looked like kangaroo droppings on the ground. Although we left very early in the morning, we returned early as well, so we weren't too tired.

Reviews: Hobart: Kunanyi/Mt Wellington Hop-on Hop-off Bus Pass

This was a very exciting tour and a great experience overall. Paul, our tour guide, was excellent and shared insightful commentary throughout. A little more time at the top would make the experience even better, but it was already a fantastic few hours.
