This was the highlight of my tours in Salvador! Wagner the guide has a deep social and anthropological knowledge of both Salvador and the places of this tour and the conversation was super interesting. The experience was great. The hotel pickup was very convenient and both the driver and the guide Thiago were very nice, friendly and respectful and with great content on the history and location.
The morning time at Praia do forte was a bit rushed (I decided to do both snorkeling and Tamar project), but if only one is chosen then it would have been more relaxed.
The snorkeling activity was okay, not entirely happy with the pictures I was sent and they should perhaps organise it better because other people on the way kept scaring all the fish when I was had my pictures taken.
The Tamar project was very nice with a 40 min guided tour.
Praia de Guarajuba was beautiful and we spend there about 3h. The facilities were very nice and pleasant too (see pictures added).★

Reviews: From Salvador: Schooner Tour to Frades Islands and Itaparica

The tour itself is well organized. It's just that the places aren't anything special. The boat has a show, but there's a cover charge (optional). Ilha dos Frades is pretty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Ilha de Itaparica has absolutely nothing except a restaurant. There's nothing to do and the food is quite expensive. I don't recommend going to Itaparica.★

Excellent SIM card. We used it in the UAE and Oman. We got the 1GB per day plan—it was always enough for both internet and navigation. Search doesn't work well in tethering mode, but social media works fine. It's very easy to set up, the signal is good, and we're completely satisfied with the service.★

This trip was as described. More of a transport to and from the island and some info by the tour guide. But it was timely and the guide Luciano was great. I definitely recommend it
