Reviews: Medellin: Guatape Tour with Boat, Breakfast, Lunch & Llamas

This tour to Guatapé exceeded all my expectations. From the very first moment, the organization and professionalism of the team were evident. The transportation was comfortable and punctual, and the guide truly knew the history and details of each place, making everything more interesting. The visit to the Piedra del Peñol was an unforgettable experience; the views from the top are simply incomparable. The boat trip on the reservoir was relaxing and perfect for spectacular photos. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food and the stops at the town's iconic landmarks, especially the famous colorful zócalos (decorated baseboards). The stop at the llama farm was a super cool surprise, something different and fun for all ages. The best part is that the entire tour flows smoothly, without rushing, with enough time to explore, eat, take photos, and enjoy every moment. For the price, the quality is incredible. Without a doubt, one of the best tours I've taken in Medellín. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time on the tour. We had 3 young children and it was a very memorable experience. The tour guides were very helpful and accomodating. Patricia and Phil went above and beyond to share their knowledge and experience to make it memorable for all the guests on the tour.
Reviews: Guatapé & Coffee farm, all in one day

As two female travelers from the US we were somewhat nervous to navigate our Colombian vacation by ourselves. However, Oscar immediately put us at ease, and treated us like queens. We enjoyed this day with him so much that we immediately booked a tour with him for the next day. He taught us so much about Colombian culture and gave us an experience we will truly never forget. We tasted all kinds of tropical fruit we’d never seen before, had a lunch of a classic Colombian plate, climbed the big rock (took us 25 minutes) and were even lucky enough to meet the mayor of el Peñol! Oscar also went above and beyond capturing photos for us and was an incredible photographer and knew all the best photo ops and angles. If you get motion sick, make sure to pack Dramamine for the long mountainous car ride. Oscar is a very good driver and has a nice and comfortable car. If there’s rain in the forecast, wear shoes with some grip so you don’t slip on the coffee farm!
Reviews: Guatape & Paragliding & El Peñol Rock & Quaint Town From Medellin

We had an outstanding day on this tour! Our tour guide Sara, was amazing! It was like traveling with a friend, not a tour company. This is a private tour, in the guides personal vehicle which was clean and tidy and a newer model with excellent AC. Pick up and drop off was at our hotel. The tour ran about 10 hours. We stoped first to do the paragliding (i recommend a Dramamine if you get motion sickness at all) the views were spectacular then off to do the rock. The rock was 750 stairs up that were slightly uneven. I am 50 and in moderate shape and it took me about 20 mins to walk up with some water breaks, and about the same time to walk down. My knees aren’t great but the views were worth it! Absolutely gorgeous. After the rock we went to the town of Guatapé which was adorable! Our tour guide new everyone and ate lunch with us and told us all about Colombian life, we had ice cream and strolled the streets, shops and churches. Afterwards we had about a 2 hour drive back to the city but the roads were easy and well groomed and the ride was no issue! Great day, great tour, and great guide! Highly recommend!

I am always amazed by the professionalism and kindness of Colombians, but our guide, Santiago, was really kind and his command of English was exceptional! The whole tour was worth it; it was definitely my best day in Medellin!
