A superb visit to the Curi-Cancha reserve with Wilson, a true bird expert! We also saw other species such as coatis and capuchin monkeys! I highly recommend it!

My wife and I did the Costa Rica Bread Making this afternoon. It was a relaxing and informative tour with views that are hard to beat. We made two traditional recipes. A Costa Rican sweet bread, some filled with a sweet preserve like an empeñada, some in whatever shape we wanted. The recipes were passed down from Carolina and Orlando’s grandmother’s-grandmother’s recipe. The other was a corn flour based empanada. We had the choice of chicken, beans, or cheese filling. Simple and traditional recipes. Stories of the culture, their family, and farm. A must visit! Thank you for this experience.
