Reviews: Shanghai Huangpu River Tour

My last night in Shanghai, the Bund Dragon Boat Cruise buffet trip after 22 years was really great. The splendid fireworks show of the Oriental Pearl Tower and the surrounding high-rise buildings was fantastic. The buffet on board before departure was also delicious and very good. I want to come back again with friends and acquaintances next time. The night view of the dragon boat cruise that sailed for about two hours brought back old memories. Try including it in your travel itinerary at least once. You won't regret it. It's just that buying and receiving tickets is difficult and complicated. If you speak Chinese well, there will be no problem.

A beautiful tea house and unique experience for Song dynasty tea ceremony. Never miss this in Shanghai!

This is a great way to see Shanghai! But be prepared to get a sore bum after 4 hours cycling - no hills though! - and be prepared to brave the traffic! Scooters, cars and bicycles come at you from all directions, tooting their horns. but the idea is that you just throw yourself in front of any other traffic and, somehow, it all works out

Reviews: Yu Garden New Chinese Tea Drinks (the terrace overlooks the beautiful scenery of Yu Garden + immersive tea ceremony experience + a variety of tea snacks to choose from + selected tea leaves)

Cool experience! I bought the voucher and made my reservation for the next day over the chat. There was a bit of confusion over what I had booked when I got there, but they sorted it out. The woman who did the tea ceremony was very knowledgeable and explained so much about the Chinese attitude to tea and the traditional practices around tasting it and how many times you can brew it. Overall a good tasting experience, just be prepared for a hard sales push after. I had planned to buy some teas but I was not prepared for the price point. It may be because of the tourist area, but these are way more expensive than even the priciest tea sellers I've bought from back home. I didn't know enough to be sure if I was being price gouged, so I only bought the smallest amount. Just be forewarned and enjoy the ceremony!
