We were picked up on time in the morning by a friendly driver in a van (the only difference was the pickup location). The bus ride went smoothly, but the road was in very poor condition for the last stretch. The boat trip was very scenic and enjoyable. Once we arrived, we had about three hours to explore the area. You can get something to eat and drink at various spots. You can also swim and kayak (though the water is very cold). There aren't too many tourists in September, which was nice. We were back in Shkodër at 6 p.m. Highly recommended!★

What a wonderful trip!!! If yoi have to choose a trip in Albania, choose this one! Breath taking landviews, the stay at the Shala river was great. The guide was really great and the tour very well organized. I wanted to do it twice, next time I'll do it again for sureTrip.com Picks
