If you're traveling from Osaka to Hiroshima and back, and the pass will definitely pay for itself, you can definitely get it. Advantages: you can reserve seats on the desired train in advance, and the ferry to Miyajima is completely free. You can exchange the pass for a physical one right at the airport upon arrival, choosing the desired activation date. Or, you can do so at the stations listed on the website (be sure to bring your passport!).
