I booked my Harbin trip through Ctrip, and it was truly beautiful, just so cold! The hotels are all kinds of places now, and the one I booked felt like a guesthouse, but its location was great.

Overall, the trip was pretty good. The accommodation in Phuket was super spacious with a pool in the backyard, though it wasn't by the beach. But we spent the day swimming, so it didn't matter. We didn't miss the night market since we were staying in Patong, and we mostly rested at the hotel at night. Our guide in Phuket, Ah Jin, was super cute and funny. He was great at makeup and singing, and very entertaining. Every day was happy and fulfilling with him! I really liked him; he was a world apart from the serious and formal guides I've encountered before. I hope to meet him again in the future! Our tour leader, Zhou Pan, was also incredibly responsible and considerate. He supplemented what the other guides missed and took meticulous care of our entire group! Phuket was comfortable as we didn't experience the scorching sun. The Paradise Pool was truly beautiful. The boat trip in Phang Nga on the first day was a bit boring; we were on a bumpy boat all day… Our accommodation in Bangkok was nice, very close to the night market. We spent a long time there in the evening and bought a Bangkok bag I liked. The Bangkok bags in the duty-free shops were terrible—all the same old stuff, and incredibly crowded! The food was so-so. The itinerary was so full that we didn't have a chance to eat any decent, authentic Thai food, which was a little disappointing. This was my second trip to Thailand, and I still love it!

Our tour with Karola was a wonderful and singular experience. She was knowledgable, kind and very helpful. She picked us up at the ferry at Uehara, and we spent 3 1/2 hours touring two sister villages on Iriomote. Karola showed us several sites related to the history and religious and cultural practices on Iriomote as well as the flora and fauna of this beautiful island. About midway through she served us tea and some local sweets while we sat on a deck overlooking the sea and continued to discuss the Iriomote community. It was very interesting and informative and her respect and regard for the island and its inhabitants, along with her warm and welcoming manner, made the tour an experience we will remember and cherish.

When I booked Phantom Island, they immediately offered me an alternative or a full refund. I chose their Osaka Beach + Taketomi option. So, with this change, we started at 9 am instead of 8 am (not a big deal). It was a 30-minute minivan ride to Osaka Beach, and we returned to the port around 11:30 am, where we received our tickets for Taketomi. The problem was, the boat was at 11:30 am and the next one at 1:30 pm, so we had to wait two hours, which was awful because we only got to spend a very short time in Taketomi. Hina, our instructor for the day, was perfect; we had a great time with her. There were absolutely no problems with her during the activity, and she even gave us lots of recommendations for Ishigaki and Taketomi. We also managed to spot a well-hidden turtle thanks to her excellent eyesight, and she spoke English, which is a huge plus in Ishigaki. Thank you, Hina, take care!

Great time and great sightseeing in this activity in IRIOMOTE. Thank you so much AYUKASAN and MACCHAN for share with us your feelings of love with the beautifull nature into the mangroove, that make us pay more atention to the details and enjoy it a lot!!! AYUKASAN even lead us on our slow relaxing way to YUBU by SUIGYU, thanks for this too! Beautifull places with very friendly people, the best choice!


