We had a fantastic private tour with João Fiandeiro exploring the Templar Castle and Convent of the Order of Christ in Tomat. He is very knowledgeable about the Templars, the site, the symbolism, the history, and he was very good at answering our questions. We enjoyed it immensely and were able to expand our education on the subject. João Is definitely an authority on this subject. Highly recommended!★

We loved the freedom of exploring at our own pace while having a GPS available. However, we weren't as keen on the Dinosaur Footprint Monument. Beware of last-minute bookings! We had to come back because the bikes weren't available on site.Trip.com picks
