Reviews: Kundasang Highlands Discovery Day Tour - Desa Dairy Farm | Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

It was very far from city so better to join the tour bus if you want to see Mt. Kinabal. where is big and mostly covered with clouds. We were lucky that we could see the top of mountain in a while.

The Handsome Jeff Tan is a wonderful person to be our local tour guide cum chauffeur. He is knowledgeable of the places where we visited. He was energetic during the trip, capable of finding short-cut country roads when there were traffic jams at main roads. He drove for day and night without feeling tired!

We had an excellent journey through the mountainous area of Mt. Kinabalu, and our guide, Mr. Yong, made the trip far exceed our expectations. He has a vast knowledge of biodiversity, which made our tour of the Geopark so much more enjoyable. We learned the names, nicknames, and fun facts about so many different species. He also shared many local legends and historical stories with us. On top of that, his impressive driving skills made the long journey full of fun.

Reviews: [Three Islands] Sutera Harbour Marina Jetty - Manukan, Mamutik & Sapi Island Round-Trip Boat Ticket | Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

The value for money was amazing! We went to Manukan first, then Mamuthi, and finally Sapi Island. Each time we changed islands, staff were there to guide us, and they spoke multiple languages, making it very convenient. The large boat was very stable, preventing seasickness. We stayed at Pacific Silk Island, a five-minute walk from the pier, and could go directly to our room to shower after disembarking. We saw many fish in Manukan and Sapi, making it perfect for those who are afraid of water. With our feet on the ground, only our bangs got wet. Bringing our own snorkeling gear made it even cleaner, and we bought a prescription mask, finally able to see the fish clearly underwater. The staff forgot to give us our life jackets, so I rented one from a safety officer in Manukan. When we arrived at the second island, we realized we hadn't returned it. The staff said they would return it for us, which was already very appreciated. Then, after I mentioned that they hadn't told me to bring a life jacket, they proactively contacted me and refunded me the rental price – a very unexpected experience! The water near the islands was quite clean, and the weather was nice that day. It started raining as soon as we got back to the hotel, but luckily we didn't get splashed or wet in the water.
