Our chartered driver for this trip was Mr. Li. We stayed at the InterContinental Paradise Hotel, and every morning Mr. Li would arrive on time to pick us up and take us to the attractions we visited. In the evenings, he would take us to restaurants or hotels according to our requests. During the trips, Mr. Li would also tell us about the local customs and culture. Overall, it was a very pleasant trip.

This was one of the most unforgettable experiences. I booked this because I wanted to learn more about the history of Tulum and about the Mayans. Our guide Daniel and our tour guide for the Ruins were so knowledgeable and were able to share so many stories/ facts with us. Going through the caves was the highlight of the day- I was a little nervous and scared at first but Daniel was very experienced in the caves which made us all feel more comfortable and safe swimming through them.

The tour was very good. Hector and Chris were excellent as guides and drivers. However, we found the lack of information beforehand to be a drawback. It would be helpful to inform those booking tours in Tulum and Coba that single-use plastics are prohibited. They are very strict about this, with fines of $20. We walked around for 2.5 hours in the midday sun without any way to get water, let alone buy it. Perhaps it would be helpful to simply advise people to bring their own reusable cups.

Would be better if the pick up time was earlier so that the end time was earlier. We were picked up at 11.30am but didn’t get back till 7.30pm
