Everything went great, except for the force majeure related to the lack of transfer on the day of the excursion without warning and the subsequent nervous negotiations about rescheduling the excursion for the next day (fortunately, there was a day to spare).★

If you only have a day to go to Machu Picchu this is a good option, just make sure you know all the logistics ahead of time cause you have a lot of transportation to take.★

Confusing experience. The purchase makes you think you have booked a spot with a specific company. This is not the case. There is only 1 company which travels up and back the mountain. You'll wait with everyone else. That having been said, the service is fine. Surprisingly well organised, given how many people use the service, and the buses are clean and in good condition. This is a good option if you don't want to have to purchase your ticket when you arrive, but that's really all you're saving.Trip.com picks
