Our family of 4 enjoyed spent a full day on this relaxing island was such a great experience. The big catamaran was a smooth trip to the island, 25 mins to Malamala Island then a further 5 mins to South Seas Island. A small boat transfers us from the catamaran to the island. There are some singers welcoming us onto the island which was a nice welcoming. We got to go on the semi-submarine to experience the under water view without getting wet which was an amazing view. The BBQ lunch was yum with salads (garden, potato, fruit, coleslaw), garlic bread, chicken drumsticks, sausage, fish curry and rice and complimentary bar was definitely a bonus with water, soft drink cans, beer and wine. There were a few different seating options around the island to chill on. Our 10 yo daughter and I paddled around in a kayak spotting the coral and fish from above before both daughters (10) (11) got a snorkel and had their first experience of snorkeling which they loved. The small pool in the middle of the island was also used. There was a small stall of souvenirs you could purchase The cultural dance show was also good. It was a good amount of time just to chill out on the small island. We highly recommend this tour for a day trip.

Really great place. If you snorkel along the side of the pier there are lots of beautiful fish. Also jumping off the pier makes you feel like a 12 year old again. The mixed sliders make for an awesome lunch.

I loved the tour! We went to see the Hindu temple, and although we didn’t go inside it was still amazing seeing their cultural clothing and the music the men played walking by. We then went to the farmers market where I got some delicious fruit and drank coconut water straight from the coconut. We then went to the garden of the sleeping giant, where I saw beautiful plants and flowers. We then went to the mud pool and thermal spa, which was such a great experience! The tour guide was very nice and friendly. He was a bit late because the 2 other people didn’t show up, but he then went to pick them up and when they forgot to go to the ATM he took them to the airport ATM. I liked that he went out of his way to help them out. Thank you, Valentine Tours!

Bruce was such an absolute legend for my friend and I. I wasn’t aware this was such an intense hike when I booked it, but I was struggling to get through the early uphill lines. Bruce was so so kind, I didn’t feel pressured at all to hurry up for time, every guide was so funny about it and cheered me on, even when I had to be carried up the steps by my friend. This is a warning; the hike is rough. I think someone in my group ending up having a medical emergency on the incline, so to diabetic travelers, be sure to bring sugar packets! Anything to get your blood sugar up after intense exercise will save you a pretty bad health scare where aid will have a difficult time reaching you. My only complaint was that the pick up time that was emailed to me was an hour earlier than when the bus came. I was told 12 pm, it was actually at 1, but the excursion itself was great. Bruce is a great photographer! And lunch at the end was amazing. This is definitely worth adding to your itinerary!
