OH MY GOSH!! where do I even start?! This experience was unlike anything I’ve ever done in the best way possible! Our captain was hilarious and really showed us the ropes of sailing! We also had SO MANY great photo opportunities!! It was a great way to see Sausalito, as well as the Golden Gate Bridge and other gorgeous buildings from almost a luxurious perspective.

Alex was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable, good diversity of information as well to keep it interesting, as well as good humour. Playing a few famous local songs along the way at key moments was a great touch.
He also took some of the best pictures of me I’ve had!
Would highly recommend.

Reviews: San Francisco: Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf & Optional Extras

John was a very friendly guide and gave us personal advice, including good restaurants. We walked through the wharf, to the seals, past the Ferris wheel, and then to the departure point for Alcatraz. Everything went smoothly. Afterward, John said goodbye, and we took the Alcatraz audio tour on the island, available in any language you wish. It's also pretty well organized, and I found it quite interesting, even though I usually find museums and the like rather boring and switch off quickly. Overall, I recommend it :)

Reviews: Muir Woods and Sausalito (Return by Bus or Ferry)
Guest User2024-07-29
This was a great tour and well organized. We found the bus easily at its appointed spot in the Wharf and the operators were kind. The bus was a comfortable large tour bus. Danillo, our driver, was especially pleasant and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the details he provided as we traversed northern SF, the bridge and eventually the forest. We appreciated the photo stop on the Marin side of the bridge as well.
The Forest was beautiful, crisp and the smell! Oh, that clean evergreen smell was heavenly. Sadly the forest seemed so small after hearing that the entire area used to be covered by redwoods before being settled - same story, different day.
After, we grabbed some ice cream at Lapperts and took the ferry back to get to Lands End trail instead of exploring Sausalito, though it was very nice. The ferry took us right by Alcatraz and was approximately 30 minutes. It was definitely windy and cool, but it was a great way to see the Bay the Bridge and the SF skyline.
Definitely recommended.

Reviews: San Francisco Love Tour

Went on the early morning trip with a friend. There was only us and another couple in the van. The driver was great. He was a life long resident and knew so much about the city and various places we saw. I suggest this trip to anyone that wants to see the sites. The van is small, so be ready to sit close to your people - or a stranger. :) At the time we went (8am) the city was just waking up so the traffic was minimal, the sites were easy to see, and it was easy to take pictures from the van. If you have a hard time getting into van or buses you may need help getting in. I'm so happy I went on this tour. I'd go again next time I'm visiting.
